Anna Cook

Hello! My name is Anna Cook and I joined Spero Academy in 2022 as the Grade Level 3rd grade teacher at our Brooklyn Park campus. I was in sales and operations/manufacturing for 20 years prior and was able to fulfill my love of service in that capacity until I completed my Masters of Special Education and transitioned to fulfill my passion for working with children. I fully believe all learners have the ability to learn, grow, and reach their highest unique and individual potential and am committed to being a positive part of that process. I also believe there are times we must "see" the potential on behalf of the student when they are struggling to see it for themselves and strive to be a helpful source of encouragement and challenge to support their development.

When I'm not in school I love spending time with my family, playing ice hockey (I've skated all my life!), getting a dose of nature where I can find it, and being with the friends I cherish. I look forward to many years of my own growth as a teacher and working with all of our Spero students and families!
