Michele Yang

Hello! I’m excited to be part of the Spero community this year. I’ve been involved in education since college—whether through volunteering at local schools, tutoring programs, teaching practicums, or student teaching. After graduating, I taught kindergarten for three years. I then had the opportunity to volunteer as an English teacher at my grandpa’s church in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Most recently, I returned from teaching abroad in Laos for a year, which was an incredible and enriching experience.

I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow, each at their own pace. As educators, it’s our role to nurture their minds and provide the support they need to thrive.
