Susan Scheller

I am the Academic Director at Spero Academy, a position I have held since 2016. I joined Spero in 2006 as a Special Education teacher and bring many years of experience in education and related services.

As Academic Director, I lead the Academic Department team in organizing, evaluating, and administering curriculum, instruction, and assessment, as well as providing professional development and training. My work is grounded in a commitment to high-quality instruction and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my family, both immediate and extended. Reading is my favorite pastime, and I also love to cook, garden, and spend time outdoors.
