Jenna Kocon

Hi, I'm Ms. Jenna! I joined the Spero Academy team in 2024 and serve as the Speech-Language Pathologist for our incredible 4th–6th grade students! Some of my professional interests include Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Gestalt Language Processing. One of the things I value most about Spero is the strong sense of community among both staff and students. I also love that every student receives individualized support that meets their unique strengths and needs! 

Outside of work, you'll usually find me enjoying ice cream (my favorite!), tacos—especially taco salad—or binge-watching a good TV series. I love spending time with my family and friends, scrapbooking and relaxing at the cabin in Breezy Point. I'm also passionate about photography and enjoy capturing special moments with the people I love most.

This year is especially exciting because my fiancé and I are expecting our first baby in September! I'll be on maternity leave for much of the school year, but your students will continue to receive excellent speech services from another talented SLP while I'm away. I'm looking forward to another wonderful year and can't wait to reconnect with everyone when I return!
