Spero Academy Board in search of members!
The purpose of the Spero Academy Board is to oversee the operation of the school and to develop and ensure the implementation of the vision and mission of the school.
Ideal qualifications
- Professional background in finance or business
- Strategic, curious, and mission-driven
- Community member (does not need to have a child at the school) or parent (has a child at Spero Academy)
Board Makeup
- 5-11 members - an even mix of parents, community members, and teachers
Time Commitment
- Monthly Meetings – Fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 PM at the Minneapolis campus. No meetings in July and December
- Participation in at least 1 of the board committees: Finance, Facilities, Accountability, Marketing
- 1 meeting per month; time and day of the week varies per committee; virtual
